NO NEW POSTS THIS WEEK

From the Author:

For those who saw the YouTube video I posted, I know I already stated that I wouldn't be posting anything personal on this blog, and that I would be posting everything non related to YouTube. This time I am making an exception. I just wanted to explain why there will be no new posts this week, and it is a bit of a heavy matter, so I didn't really feel like making a video.

I was planning on releasing the reviews for Crackdown 2 and Battlefield 3 on today and Thursday, but I just didn't have any time to write this weekend. In fact, I haven't really had much time for anything this weekend, and for those of you who are here from Regis Jesuit High School in Denver, I think you already know why. You can stop reading this post here.

For those who are here from elsewhere, I should explain the situation. I don't really have any other way to say it, so I'll say it bluntly. Last Thursday night, a friend of mine committed suicide. He wasn't a good friend, but he was a friend. He was a wonderful person, and his death rocked the entire school. 90% of our students left campus after first period because they just couldn't take being in class after what happened. I was one of those people. The only reason we stayed even that long was because we skipped first period to spend an hour and a half in the chapel, just sitting silently in respect for him. I have had a very rough weekend because of it, and I haven't gotten anything done. I wasn't going to be writing any reviews if I couldn't even finish my AP Chemistry homework...

I want to thank you for your understanding in this matter. I will still try and get one review out by next weekend, but I'm not making any promises. As for my friend and his family, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. His name was Dominick Doyle, and he had two loving parents, and two younger siblings, a brother and sister, both freshmen. For those of you who want to go the extra mile, I also created a Facebook page called Remembering Dom Doyle that you can visit and see how loved he was.

Again sorry for not posting reviews, but thanks for the support and understanding.
